Forum Rules

Subject: Snowstorm Pics and video Wed Feb 27, 2013 10:19 am
So yesterday we got hit with the tail end of the big winter storm. It rained for a good 3 hours then turned to snow all night. This is seriously the heaviest, wettest snow I've ever seen. My professor emailed us last night and rescheduled our midterm that was supposed to be at 9am this morning. In my 5 total years of higher education so far, that has never happened. I still have two other today though...Anyways, here are some pics of Bode this morning and our backyard. My DSLR is out of battery and I haven't charged it, so I had to use just a point and shoot. I could have gotten so much better ones!

This is a TREE in our backyard that is normally upright. The snow is weighing the branches all the way down to the ground. A branch from another tree fell on my car in the driveway, but luckily there was no damage IMG_2106 by sara.white.2012, on Flickr

ahh I want a snow day so Bourbon and I can play in the snow. I love it when the bounce and leap well just general antics all around! Thanks for the pictures they are great and warmed my heart with a great big smile!

I am right there with you Sara. I live near the airport and Onyx was loving it. Last night, as soon it started snowing he was at the door wanting to go out. It was nasty to drive in last night and it was too heavy for the brush on my snow scraper. It was nasty stuff.

So turns out there is a ding in my hood where the branch fell. And it's a lease. I'm not happy about that!

Down here in Southern Ohio, Colleen and I will just get to dream about snow. It is gray, gross and rainy. I've temporarily lost interest in mopping up muddy paw prints...again.

I will just keep my fingers crossed that one day I will be able to bring my pup to play in the snow somewhere. Lol.
