2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Sara, that is normal for that age, she will look skinny for another yr or less, don't worry they do fill out as long as you are feeding them Smile just don't over feed cause all your doing is wasting food, in on end out the other and not being absorbed in. 2 cups + healthy treats should be plenty. also make sure its a good quality of food as well.

Some huskies are "fast maturing" and usually are their adult height by 10ish months, where as a more naturally maturing husky will reach it by 14-18 months. Koda was fast maturing and all done at ten, Rogue was about 15 months.

I'm hoping Kaiser is pretty much done. At 10 months almost he is about 23 inches and 53 pounds. Of course, he is a wiggler so that could be off a bit

It just weirds me out that her last check up at the vet which was last month, she weighed in at 41 pounds. But, 4 months ago, she weighed in at 29 pounds. So she didn't gain much, or so it seems to me. I mean, I'm still new to this whole raising a husky thing... But she's definitely eating and the vet says she's healthy. Hopefully she starts filling out soon!

It really depends on the line your dog comes from. Some dog lines mature very quickly and can be fully developed by 2 years others take more time and may not reach their full potential until they are 4+ years old.

This is something I'm interested in as well. My boy is 7 months, 23 inches and the withers and 50 pounds. He eats 1 1/2 cups twice a day for a total of 3 cups. Is he fully grown or will he get bigger? He has already filled out.

Last week I week to the vet to get Sabaka some more heart worm meds and they printed his weight history for me. He is now 2 years 3 months old and has weighed the same 50 pounds since he was 7 months old (give or take a pound). And puppies under one year old should be eating more so I think I remember feeding 3-4 cups at that age. It's very strange how some dogs grow fast and in spurts and others grow at a more steady rate.
