Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| The reflective stuff is on both sides. One more is not going to happen, it's too much of a reminder that there should be four. These three are only getting used for pre-dawn runs and hikes. |

| Ugh, one down... two to go. I knew this first one would be a pain. Those are .75 inch by 2 inch strips and the machine doesn't like sewing meticulously. It wants to speed through layers of canvas yards at a time. Getting things right has proven to be quite the chore. Ridik says, "mine?"... Nice padded fleece hand hold turned out the way I had hoped... Definitely time to walk away from this project for the day.

| Good. That's what I was going for. Glad it didn't end up looking like a sprinkler. |

| Eddy, that looks phenomenal!! If they didn't piss you off so much, I'd ask you to make me two! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Well, it wasn't so much the leash as it was the machine pissing me off. I wanted everything set right to heavy nylon for when I start Jenn's harnesses. So if you truly want some, you'd better get in before I finish those harnesses. After that I'm adjusting the machine for new sled dog rain coats. That should be another fun five days.
(These leashes have a net material cost of $11.50. More would probably be closer to $10.00 now that I'm done wasting expensive thread.) |

| I will have to talk to John, but thinking about it, he'll probably put the big veto on it. We ARE trying to save money especially in the wake of our recent car purchasing. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Yeah, I used loose change to get that nylon. The fleece and thread were bought at Christmas 50% off sales. The clips were still fine from old leashes and the reflective stuff was left over from a project two years old. Otherwise it wouldn't have happened. |

| Awesome leashes, you should go into the leash making business. |
