2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

the person that i got bandit from just told me she needs to move back to her country and cant keep her huskies. which is Bandits mom and dad. she said would give me bandits dad which he is 3 yrs old and bandit is 5 months and my other husky shes 3 months old and shes not related to them in any way. but i would need to neuter the dad asap. if i dont take him he will most likely go to a shelter Sad ya think its a good idea to bring a 3 yr old husky to my young pack?

If he is a good boy he might show ur younger ones some manners, if he comes with issues well they will learn them. Can u take on a 3rd $ wise? I hear its much diff then just 2. If you can and everyone gels well go for it. And if it does not work out at least u kept him out of the shelter and u can place him in a new home. Will she cover the cost of the spay?

Just had another thought since he is a intact male u might have some issues with that at first till he is spayed and all the hormones work them self out.

+1 to what Jenn said!

At the very least, if you can afford to take on a 3rd dog, you could keep him out of a shelter until you could find him another home. I'd contact your vet ASAP and discuss the cost of a neuter to see how much that will cost if she won't be covering it. I know the cost of that can sometimes surprise people.

If he's well behaved and seems to get along with your two (I'm all for having dogs meet before just bringing them home), then I don't see why it would be bad.

Bandit is 5 months and a half
