Weird thing going on with Cash. We've been walking everyday, twice a day for about 15 minutes and he loved it. The last two days he acts petrified of everything like he's never walked before. Thoughts? Suggestions? I dont want to stop walking and increase the fear but don't want to scare my puppy. Nothing has really scared him lately either to cause this-a dog barked at him but that was it. I'm at a loss.

Start bringing little treats or peices of kibble with you. Tika refused to walk when we first got her. We bribed her to make it a positive experience. So get him out the door with a peice, then when he gets to the corner give him another and praise.....repeat until his fears are gone
Its how we trained ours to walk on leash and heel.
If he's not particularly food motivated then figure out what he would follow you for, praise, pets....etc

Try not to reinforce the fear either. Any attention, especially a soft "it's okay" followed by petting will only make it worse, teaching him it's okay to be afraid and that it will get him affection.

A good approach is coimbine Kelly's advice with your own confidence to help him build his own, through you.

Cash is 4 months and a week. And I was thinking of the kibble so I will try that tomorrow.
