Please keep in mind that the shampoo may help, but huskies naturally clean and preen themselves just like cats and birds do, so they really only need to be bathed about twice a year. Bathing them too often can actually dry the skin, give them doggie dandruff, and give the fur a dry sheen.

The proper diet and high quality food is actually what gives huskies (and other dogs) the soft fur, with the lustrous sheen that people are after. IIRC, it is the protein content that does the work
