Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Hi Everyone - Just wanted to do a quick intro! I am a SAHM to a beautiful and intelligent little girl who amazes me everyday, but I am also a new mom to two wonderful howl monkeys - Remi and Diesel. They were 5 1/2 weeks when we first brought them home and now they are almost 12 weeks. Diesel is my rebel (and probably should have been named Demon) and Remi is my lazy, somewhat slow pal. Diesel 1week Remi 1 week Diesel 2 weeks Remi 2 weeks Diesel 3 weeks Remi 3 weeks Diesel 4 weeks Remi 4 weeks Remi & Diesel 5 1/2 weeks Remi & Diesel 10 weeks |

| Welcome! They are absolutely adorable, and Remi is very striking.
It's nice to see another Illinoisan join up, we have a pretty good group going. I'm originally from Urbana, but moved away after high school. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. I couldn't wait to move away from all the corn fields, so I went to college in Texas and lasted all of 1 year before I transferred back to Illinois. GO REDBIRDS!!!! Now I'm still in Illinois, but wouldn't want to live anywhere else! Only problem with the corn fields right now is they are covered in snow, lol. J/k I do love my snow! |

| ISU then? I took classes at U of I when I was still in high school, but applied anywhere I could outside of the state. I wound up going to college in Maryland and then getting commissioned into the Navy, so I really only make it back to IL once or twice a year. I tried to get a position with the ROTC unit there in Champaign, but I wound up getting orders to teach at the Naval Academy.
I get how you felt with Texas, I was stationed in FL for my last tour and couldn't wait to escape. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
