| Ahsoka started dragging mail/stuff off the coffee table, so I had to clean it off. She opened some of the bf's mail for him. Not sure it was still readable...
Its pretty cute when I walk in the room and she has one of my socks, one of my shoes, and/or a slipper in the dog bed and is laying on them. As long as she's not chewing on them...*knocks on wood* She also likes to sink her teeth into my hair and try to eat it. It hurts. But its kind of cute. |

| Anakin got a good grip on my hair and playfully led me across the room today. Other than that he was a pretty good pup today. Last time I roll around on the floor and play with him tho, he lost his marbles trying to scalp me. Needless to say my yelps were genuine. |

| Ahsoka was good today. Dexter was a sh*tstain. I have never come closer to calling animal control on a dog before. Or choking the life out of one. *eye twitch* |

| Tore a hole in Baxter's cheek. He did Ahsoka a few days ago. (Ahsoka and Dexter are ALWAYS supervised. Each time was a chain reaction split second thing)
If you wanna read details, read the food aggression post I just made. |

| Yea, he's really shook up, but I knew what to do for the cut after having to go to the vet for Ahsoka last week. Hers is still festering...I think I might have to take her back in and have it surgically drained/cleaned. :'( |

| 2 big 2 little. The idea is they keep each other company. It worked great when we had an adult rescue for a few days, a husky/aussie mix. Ahsoka needs to get bigger before things will settle down a little more. Once she's able to stand up for herself and actually get to play with the big guy. |

| Anakin is my only furbie at the moment. ( I see why Jedi only take on me padawan at a time :p) I do however want another dog eventually. Now it being a puppy is a whole different question. |

| I like being able to train a dog from the ground up. No suprises. What you give is what you get. Not like this transplant that's leeching insane amounts of stress into my house right now. |

| Rescues can be trained. I'm not sure what you meant by transplant, but a rescue can be a very loving dog. It just takes time and patience to train a dog. When a dog comes form a bad background, you have to work a little harder, but that means the rewards are bigger. I'm sure there are many reasons this happens, but resource guarding is something that needs to be handled at the instant it occurs. I know from experience. |

| Personally, I know you had a deposit on Ahsoka, but I would never bring a new dog into my house until all my dogs were trained propertly. Bringing in a new dog just sets the older dog back and it's just a lot more work then it needs to be.
I really do wish you the best of luck, I can't even imagine what you're dealing with. |

I really do wish you the best of luck, I can't even imagine what you're dealing with. Yea, I wasn't quite prepared for the total amount of setback involved. I expected some, but not this much. Then again, I had my little dog's heat to deal with at the worst possible time. Dex is getting an appointment today to be neutered. As for transplant, I merely meant my boyfriend and his dog have transplanted themselves into my home, at my request. If he could just take proper care of his dog, like Eric has been stressing and requesting, things might not be so bad. But he'll take Dex on an hour walk one day, then no walk for two days. Then two short walks in a day, next day no walks, etc.. I don't know how often he forgets to feed his dog, but I end up doing it a LOT. I can usually tell when Dexter is trying to take my little dogs' food out of my hands. I'm not 100% positive his issues stem from resource guarding... Read my post in the aggression thread to see what I mean. |
