| Heya everyone
I have been told by a number of husky owners that a great treat for them is raw chicken wings, if this is so then at what age would you start giving them, I dont want to give my babies any too early and upset their little tummies
Thanks Tracy xxx |

| I would think that once they've been weaned from the mother that you could give them chicken treats. At first you might want to cut them in half. With my dogs (all adult) I had to hold the wing and make sure they chewed it the first few times. Seemed pointless to let them swallow it all when the bone chewing was the whole point. |

| My babies are 12 weeks old now, and I think they would really enjoy them, just dont want to hurt them in any way |

| Feeding raw food is no different than a canine would get in the wild, thus it's safe to feed as soon as the dogs are weaned from their mothers as Eddy said. However, he brings up a good point in that the dogs should be monitored and maybe the sizes of the wings cut down so that they don't struggle with eating them. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
