| Gabe is home finally. We got a call from a truck driver that happened to go into a store that had a picture of our boy posted. This man said he had petted gabe a few days ago and gave us a phone number to the people he thought had him. As my husband was talking with them, I was having a fit wanting him to give me a clue if it was or was not gabe. After a few minutes of chatting and describing him he told me that it could be him but that the lady thought the dog she had was an akita. The truck driver had gone turkey hunting on her land a week prior and told her it was a husky. The lady lived in another county. When we pulled up there was no doubt it was GABE. They told us he came up a few days after he got loose so she had him for over a week and had planned on turning him loose that day. Thank God for that truck driver or we may never have got him back. He was covered with ticks. But now he is back where he belongs. I will be putting his picture on our profile asap. Thanks |

| YAY!!! Congratulations, that is so wonderful Yes, microchips help, but in this case, it doesn't even seem like that woman brought Gabe to the vet, so that wouldn't have done anything. A small collar with ID tags always on him would probably be the best, but microchipping never hurts. It's only $45 up here, hopefully it's the same for you. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
