I have a full length mirror in my living room, Bella has begun staring at herself at regular intervals when she gets up on the couch. She doesn't bark or try to play with it and she mostly ignored it for a few months but now is fascinated with watching herself. How does your dog react?

Milla ignores it mostly. Hunter was doing this funny noise in his throat kind of like blowing raspberries and woofing and was posturing in front of it. He was desexed last week and has ignored it since.

Korra was endlessly fascinated by it. And, as it's a ten buck plastic one from target, I made it her play toy for when I'm studying. Works like a charm haha.

Ooooo might have to try the playtoy, Bella needs more things to destroy that she should be destroying anyway.

Karli is petrified of her reflection. She saw it in the screen on the tv and freaked out. It was so bad I had to get her a ceramic bowl because she refused to eat her food out of the one she could see her face in.

Lola loves to look at her self! Sometimes she barks. It is funny. She will be sleeping on the bed, wake up, stand up and look at herself in my dresser mirror. None of my past dogs have been interested in the mirror.

Korra was kind of scared at first, so I showed her myself in the mirror. Then she was super confused lol! Then I think she got it.

Never of mine care. Koda use to every once in a while do an "under his breath" bark at the mirror but that stopped forever ago it was cute.

Stark wasn't too bad with the mirrors, until... He was about six months old; he was upstairs and my sister was behind him. He was staring really intently at the mirror and my sister ran up to him, but in the reflection, it looked like she was going to bang into him head on... He freaked. Funniest thing ever! Now he doesn't really care anymore...

Most of the time, Ava doesn't care too much. We have one mirror that she likes though. Its pretty high on the wall, so she can only see herself when she's on the back of the couch. She likes to admire herself in the mirror Snickers is a bit different though. He doesn't really see himself in mirrors very often, but at night he catches his reflection in our front window and absolutely flips out. He's convinced that there's a dog on the front porch looking in, and that it barks back whenever he barks

Wrex would lay in front of the mirror staring into his own eyes.. The house joke was "Wrex is saying 'You have beautiful eyes ' " (Wrex being the amazing blue eyed Shepherd in my display)

My girls don't really care for mirrors though Kay looks at her reflection on the side of cars. My cat jade on the other hand will continually paw at the mirror on the shower door.

Sasha saw her reflection in the stove the other day, at first she froze and stared at herself, and then she growled, and then she puffed up all of her fur and barked at herself a couple of times. Then she ran to me and hid behind my legs and peered around at the stove wondering who that was and why they just copied everything she did. I think it kinda a freaked her out lol. It was pretty hilarious to watch though.

Sometimes Crispin just stares, but other times he goes crazy. What's charming is when he thinks his reflection has his toys or is coming toward him, then he starts doing his suspicious bark.

The first time Yuki saw herself she did a quiet 'woof' and kinda puffed up at it, but then she licked it and ever since she just 'admires' herself in the reflection. I'll wake up the morning to see her just looking in the morning, then she'll lift her head up one way and then turn it the other. What a weirdo.

None of mine care about their reflection. The very first time Dakota saw himself in a mirror he barked but he figured it out immediately after and hasn't been phased since that one time. _________________

The first time Kavik saw himself in the mirror was when he accidentally walked by it. He huffed in surprise and jumped back to go into an immediate play-bow, then he barked and tried to play tackle the 'other husky'. It was adorable how confused he looked when he came in contact with glass instead of fur. He only did that once, now he just looks then keeps on walking.

Danzig freaked when he first saw his reflection. He stared and then barked. Then he started pawing the mirror. After the first time he'd always look at it weird when walking by. We don't have any full length mirrors in our now though . I have noticed him licking his reflection on the glass doors of our new entertainment center though. Quite messy for me.

Sometimes he notices and stares at himself like this for awhile, sometimes he just walks by. Sometimes when he's especially rowdy he barks at himself in the mirror. It's adorable.
