| Karli has only seen snow once lol. Since she's only 6 months old we wouldn't be able to walk the whole trail (to the first waterfall) anyways, so if anyone has any other suggestions I'm open (and we can save Wallace Falls for when its warmer.)
Eric do you work Sundays too? |

| Lol, I have Saturdays off more than Sundays, but given 2 weeks notice, I'm allowed to request a day off.
There are cool lowland hiking areas all over. Ebey Island, Lowell Riverfront Park, Lord Hill, Meadowdale Beach Park, Hertz Trail, etc.
I'm consulting Best Hikes With Dogs: Western Washington now. |

| So.. Hoow far is everyone willing to go? My car is basically full with me and dogs and our gear.
Here's the best lowland hikes I have found, with low high points.
1. East Bank Baker Lake, Baker Lake, WA 8 to 28 miles High Point : 1000ft Elevation gain: 300ft
2. Boulder River, Granite Falls, WA 9 miles roundtrip High Point : 1600ft Elevation gain: 600ft
3. Twin Falls, Exit 34 off I90 3 miles roundtrip High Point: 1000ft Elevation gain: 500ft

| I'll go however far, I don't really care as long as Korra gets to play! Korra hasn't seen snow for real yet, stupid warm winter. Though since I've been commuting to school, it's kinda nice. I do wanna bring her up to play in the snow one day, I'm sure she'll have a blast. |

| I live so far away from everything anyways that it doesn't bother me driving a little bit! I'm with Dot, Karli needs husky friends lol. If we go the first weekend in March, that would be great. Karli's spay is on the 5th. |

| I'm always free Tuesdays, and Thursdays are good too, assuming I don't procrastinate too much (hah..) Though this Tuesday we're making our first trip to campus! In the car this time, in case it's too much we'll have a safe place. Next time we'll be there on the bus though, parking is a joke. |

| Hey, have you guys looked to see if there is an H2M2 group up that way? If not, let me know and I can get you pointed in the right direction to start a new one. Those pictures are absolutely adorable, btw. Those pictures are absolutely adorable, btw. You guys are giving me puppy fever in a bad way There's a few trying to start up in this area, but none have really taken flight as far as I can tell. Next Saturday I'm going to one, so I'll update with how that goes, but yes! Any tips about how to get them going would be great. I know the one up by Eric stopped trying to meet up at the park near me, I think beacuse there was no turnout..? Huh. Not sure on the details. I HAVE a puppy and Link is giving me puppy fever, that clumsy puppy run is just... |

| It would seem that we have a large enough "community" here to have a good one. It's funny, when I see somebody with a Husky around town and I don't know them from this forum, I almost wish I had a recruitment card or some literature that says, "you know, there are resources for people like you. Gimme a call, I can help you find your way." The Pacific Northwest has got to be crawling with Huskies. I see about 4 around Seattle a lot. Now that I have Link too I'm sure we are gonna conjure up attention from Husky folks, hopefully. |
