| I'm so sad While Mya is my oldest and will be 7 in March, this really hits close to home. I can't even imagine I'm so so so so glad that they adopted Oakley when they did! Shelby would have been left all alone I'm trying so hard not to start crying in the office again. |

| I thought it looked like a stroke of some kind but it didn't look like any of the tests were conclusive... Very sad for them _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |

That's what it seemed like to me too. But I think someone told them dogs can't have strokes. I don't see why they can't. My Dad has had about 5 or 6 strokes, so I've seen the damage it can do. Loss of control on one side of the body is a big indicator. |

| Oh no! I feel so sad for them. I have watched their videos for the past year, and have been following Shiloh’s story over the past month or so. She feels like part of the family. RIP and run free |

| I'm glad Shelby has Oakley to keep her company now. I think she would be pretty sad without a partner on four legs to run around with. |

| Awww, I'm trying not to cry.
Run free, Shiloh. You brought happiness and smiles to everybody who watched you, now it's time to bring your wonderful spirit to the Bridge.
RIP - you will always be loved. Run free, baby girl... |

| This was posted by another user on GTTSD's facebook page. I thought it was fitting, so I'm sharing it with you guys too. North of Rainbow Bridge The time comes. A Siberian Husky lifts up its head. There is an untested adventure beyond. Time to go. Across the Rainbow Bridge is a place for all dogs. A river runs wide and shallow with tennis balls that fly with their own wings; that is the place for a Labrador or Golden to await its master’s arrival. The Siberian is not content here. Northward is its trail…. There are soft pastures for Aussies and Border Collies, with sheep and geese to pen. Agility equipment grows like trees amid Frisbees and flyball. But the North continues its sure wild call, and the Siberian’s journey continues…. Now the air is colder. Now the moon is always full. Now the light is silver and it breaks and shimmers on fields of bright snow. Now there are no roads, no walls, no pens, just endless space to run. This is where Siberians gather, North of the Rainbow Bridge. They wait in this beautiful place, happy, but not complete. Suddenly, a howl begins, as one dog senses someone coming, someone very special. All the Siberians raise their heads and join in the ancient chorus. They dance like moonbeams and sing like winter winds. There are red ones like dawn streaks, black ones splattered with many colors and silver ones like the first strange hour before light. They line up as if in harness and run together, in a scintillating, many-colored streak. The leader of the team guides the others past the fields and river, with racing feet and racing heart. They rush to greet the new arrival at the Rainbow Bridge, where the leader is rejoined with its beloved person, never to be parted again. The glory of the reunion is celebrated by all the Siberians dwelling beyond the Bridge, a glimmering, multicolored team leaping and whirling with joy. The light from that scene is what we see on magical evenings in the northernmost parts of this Earth: The Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights beyond the Rainbow bridge. by MakWa4me |

Loss of control on one side of the body is a big indicator. My dog (obviously not the huskies) died a month ago from a stroke.. so they definitely can. I cried this morning too, I know how they're feeling. At least Shiloh lived an amazing life and was well-loved. RIP beautiful girl, say hi to both of my girls for me. Their whole pack is in my thoughts. |
