Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Here is Isis in her "Cone of Shame". She looks thrilled, doesn't she? She seems to be doing better every day, and she slept through the night for the first time last night! We took her off of her pain meds yesterday, only because she was "zombified" on them, and the vet suggested it. I will call this morning to see if we can give her Rimadyl or something, as I do not want her to be in pain. I added a few pics of Nanuk & Mika. They were trying to see into the bedroom, where Isis is currently laying. We are hoping for a BM today, according to the vet, she should be feeling the need soon. Crazy thing to hope for, huh? So, anyway, she is eating well, drinking water. She had a nice day yesterday: her Grandma stayed with her while we were at work, and one of our neighbors came 4 times to let them all out. We are troubled, tho: she did take a nip at the neighbor, even after she had just been giving him kisses. When he went to pet her, she took the nip. No damage done, and he still came back to walk her the 4th time, bless his heart! We can only think that he looks a lot like the surgeon. She didn't go after him, only stood and stared after she did it. This is something we will definitely have to correct. Thankfully, no wound! Jeff figures she is just still leary and in a little pain, and is not scared of her. We are so blessed with good friends, family & neighbors! |

| poor isis in her cone, you are so lucky to have so many people helping out, i would not even trust our neighbors with a key to our house, next house i want to make sure we can. glad she did not break skin on the nip and glad to hear your neighbor did not take it to heart and still came back, im sure she does not feel herself and it is something to watch for when she is better. _________________ |

| Yes, we are lucky there. Tommy especially does not trust too many people, but we really, really, lucked out! We are all bonded by love of dogs! |
