| I'm just wondering if it's normal for huskies to look skinny after blowing their coat? Karma blew her coat, and although she is not skinny...she looks like it. She almost looks like a different dog, all her fur even around her face is gone. About how long does it take for their fur to grow back? |

| It's pretty normal, Kay is just now growing her coat back in and this is what she looked like about a week ago when i brushed most of her coat out. and this is how she looked full coat. |

| It's normal. Mine have been blowing their coats for over a month now and they look scrawny as can be. I'd say by May they should be full again You can always give you're dog an egg every now and then. Fish oil and coconut oil are great too. If you brush their coat regularly, it helps stimulate hair growth. |

| Abby-that is a way too cute pic of Kay!! My Karma looks almost the same, except she has bi-eyes. Those are nice pics of before and afters...funny how different it makes them look after losing fur.
Kelly-Can I give her the egg raw over some kibble? |

| Yes, pics say a lot. I know, I can't wait either. Karma looks kinda sad and I joke around with her saying she looks homeless because she looks skinny...lol. I'm gonna have to take pics of her, and post them. My male hasn't blown his coat yet, and he's all big and fluffy. My little pup is 13 weeks and she looks fluffier then Karma too. My poor mama Karma. |

| OMG Abby - that Kay comparison is priceless! How long after they blow their coat does it usually take to grow in fully again? |

| My puppy is a year old and hasn't blow a coat yet. Is that unusual? |

| hmmm, not sure....my male hasn't blown his coat at all..he's already 2. :/ I'm wondering if that's unusual??...lol.
My female blown her coat twice already and she's 2. But this last time, she looked extremely different to me...like she's skinny. |

| Maya and Sophie don't blow their coat like Kay does. Kay like explodes, Maya and Sophie take their time. So maybe they could have slowly blown their coat without you noticing? Though i notice Sophie and Maya because they shed little tufts every once and a while. I've heard that some dogs hold onto their puppy coat longer then others if that helps, lol. |

| Nunya doesn't blow coat, or at least he hasn't yet, and it's a war with Snoopy's hair. I still think Nunya is part shepherd and that would also go with the not blowing coat. |

| Jack always looks super skinny after a coat blow, i have even weigh him before and after and its the same the coat just puffs him out. it takes a few months for his coat to come back in. every husky is different though. _________________ |
