| Happy 3rd Birthday to Frosti Paws, who had a surprise birthday party at her doggie day care! They got her doggie ice cream with a candle, and the human staff celebrated with a cake!   This is very topical to the how to choose a doggie daycare discussions! We hit the jackpot on the one we found, where the staff love our dogs as much as we do, where they make every possible effort to socialize and spend time with our dogs, where they take as good care of them as we do and have a mobile vet on call, where the staff takes afternoon breaks on a ledge while snuggling with the dogs because they enjoy their company. Many of the new members may not know her story and how much of a challenge it was adopting her and integrating her into our pack.  She had some of the worst separation anxiety that we or many of the dog experts we know had seen since she had been through two other homes and two stints in rescue in a year and a half. It proves that through consistency, training, perseverance and love that it will add end up ok in the end. For anyone in the middle of a bitey puppy phase, a fearful rescue dog phase or many of the challenges we face, please know that this too shall pass and you have happy times ahead! This forum is awesome support while you're in the midst of it! Happy Birthday our little Frosticle!
