Ok sooo little update.. Koda had his first birthday on the 10th.. We went to a baseball field and he got to play with my fiances familys 3 dogs, and my brothers dog. And they all had puppy birthday cake! I didnt get pix i forgot my phone that day!

Koda has been doing good! He is a healthy 59#! I think he packed on a little for the winter, he was a steady 55# through the summer and most of fall. We have been getting snow on and off so i got some pix of us playing in it!

Took koda to petsmart for santa pic. Wasnt the greatest experience. Another husky was infront of us, i could tell didnt like koda that much, some agreesive barking, well the husky sliped his leash when santa was holding him and came and attacked koda. After that koda wouldnt listen to well when we tried to get pix with santa. Santa was real nice though and even crawled on the floor with koda to try and get a good pic lol.





We took koda on his first pulling experience. He did well i think for his first time. We had him pull a empty sled to the hill, he got tangled a few times but fogured it out i think. Then we had hom pull the fiance down a small hill. He did it the first time. The 2nd time he didnt want to lol. So we stopped then. We will work on it some more but i didnt wanna over do it. I want it to be fun for him.

Man...I wish Ami would cuddle. Most I get is about 90 seconds first thing in the morning when I open his crate!

How many dogs get to say they have had Steak from Mortons steak house?!?! If you never heard of it its one of those real fancy steak houses that cost a bunch for a steak with no sides included. But you by the sides and they come in family size portions. I had some left overs. He loved it!





Kind of hard to see him in this pic. But he found a stick during the firework show they had after the pirates game lol.

So here is a little update on koda and nyx...

If you guys didnt know me and the fiance dont live together yet, she is about a hour away at school. Nyx lives with her and koda lives wit me, they see eachother about once a week as of now. Thats why most pix are of them not together.

Im so happy he is actually starting to take day time naps!! He still is usually jumping around barking at me for attention but this is a start!

At the vet last week she weighed 23lbs and she is 5months

She loves laying behind your neck or on ur shoulder when driving, idk how thats going to work when she gets bigger lol haha!!



She is a huge cuddle bug!!!!!

Got any opinions on what kind of dog she has in her. We think we are going to do a DNA test and take bets lol hahaha!

Also question:
Koda and her play pretty well together in the house. They will mouth and wrestle and are pretty good. Sometimes one wants a break and the other doesnt then she gets a little more aggresive but we just gove them a break then for a few.

Im more worried about when they play outside in the baseball field. She is terrified of him then. He is fast and likes to chase her and jump over her and she barley wants to move in the baseball field. Any tips for this?
