Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Obviously not a Husky, but figured I would help spread the message however I could. I know there aren't mountains of Quebecois on the forum, but in the off chance it does get seen I figured I would post it up here.

Ruby-Sue is a special needs Female Pit bull looking for a Home. She is currently living with a Foster in the Greater Montreal Area of Quebec. The foster family however is leaving next week (is mainly why I'm posting this) for a month or more on business. The rescue would like to place her in the right home before this happens.

Added onto that a lot of areas of Quebec, and our closest neighbor, Ontario have banns against pits.

Ruby-Sue:

Special Needs Pit looking for a home. Montreal Area. Icruby10

D.O.B: August 20/2011
Color: Brown and White
Size: Medium
Sex: Female
ID Number: CA1127
Date Rescued: Oct. 13/2011
Approximate Breed: American Pit-Bull Terrier (Mix)

Ruby-Sue's disability is simply that she was born with the inability to bend her hind knees, they are in essence locked in place.

It really hasn't slowed her down any. The multitude of Vids they have up from when she was just a puppy onwards really show her spirit and drive... She just hops around like a little Kangaroo everywhere.

Great with Kids, Cats, and Other dogs.

But hey don't take my word for it. Small clip of her adoption video; it sadly isn't a Youtube or Daily motion vid so I can't post it directly but it should be there after the jump.

Ruby-Sue

More vids of Ruby when she was a puppy mixed in with some of her therapy and other rescues they have.
