Has anyone heard of or used one of these? I was thinking of getting one for when we bring our puppy home.

I have a soft crate from Guardian Gear and LOVE it.

I would be worried about not holding up. And if it's too big the pup may use one area to potty and sleep on the other. It might be a good idea to look into a wire crate with a divider which will allow it to grow with the pup.

That's what I was thinking. Definitely don't want my puppy thinking its okay to potty in it. Just thought I'd get some opinions.

I think it could work for a little puppy, but by the time the pup is 3-4 months old she'll be able to jump it/knock it over (depending on how heavy the bottom is).

How about something like this instead? If you are looking for a playpen for her. You can use it outside so she can still learn to pee and poop in the grass

I may buy one and return it if it doesnt work out. Amazon is usually pretty good about that. I thought about the wire one but I liked this one because it was so portable.

I wouldn't expect something like that to hold up to a husky puppy. I have a metal Midwest exercise pen like the one Amy posted and it folds up nice an small for storage. It's a little on the heavy side but it's much more durable and more likely to withstand puppy husky abuse.

We had one once, it lasted all of a couple of hours. Those are not made to contain a Siberian puppy. We use plastic airline crates for our pups, and wire ones after the initial crate training is more solid.

Although this isn't the same thing, I had a soft crate that couldn't even keep a determined 10 pound Lhasa Apso in it.. HAHA!


I truly don't suggest it for a husky pup.

I tried a soft crate before my sibe was crate trained and he ripped a huge hole in it in a matter of minutes. Now that he's crate trained he is fine in a soft sided crate, but soft stuff I would not recommend for a puppy or a dog that is not already crate trained.
