| Hello all...I've seen some familiar names on here from another popular Husky forum, so some of you will know us and our pack.
Andy, Big Red, Prince Andrew, Roo: He's the good one...the first one of the pack who was adopted after us becoming a foster failure...in August 2010. A month earlier we lost our Stormy girl (husky/shepherd x, but more husky than shepherd). We think he was about 5 or so, that puts him just around 7 now! Good as gold, kissy boy, a little grumbly sometimes, and definitely the pack alpha.
Jackson, Jack, Big Foot...less nicknames than Andy, but he is definitely a sasqwatch without the body to really match. He came to us after being a give away on Craig's list that was picked up by animal control. His name was Miller (after a beer can) and we couldn't have that. He'd been living tied to a tree. Food motivated, loves to eat...and just now, after 2 years, he's becoming a real husky that loves belly rubs, sings, and still learning to play and his manners. Oh yeah, they said Jack was also around 5, but we think he was a little younger, so we are guessing after 2 years he is now between 5 and 6, just by his behavior.
Jessy, little bug, little girl, little face - can you guess, she's the little one. Her owners could not keep her and we found her as a surrender on Adopt a Husky site. She was 38 lbs when she came to us and now a robust 45...can take both the boys down in a hearbeat, but prefers to latch on to Andy's tail and not let go. She's a talker, even when there's nobody in the room, does it for the attention. She has a double loop on her tail as it appears to have been injured. Jessy turned 2 in September and is the baby, but thinks she runs the show!
We spoil our pack like crazy...they are all well behaved most of the time, and escaped once quite by accident when the fence blew out and we didn't know, and I let them out. Jessy was gone for 5 hours, the boys came right back. You can visit our You Tube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/andrewjackson2010?feature=mhum Can someone tell me why I can't get smilies to post in my message? Also, I added a photo (avatar) but I don't see it showing up anywhere. How do I add photos to a post? Looking forward to spending some time here! |

| Yay, Minnesota! Beautiful Pack. How did they like the snowstorm? By the way, would Andy happen to be a MUSHR alumni? He looks familiar. |

| Hi Jennett, knew I'd see you on here.
Yes, Andy is a MUSHR alum...we adopted him in August 2010...we thought we would just foster but when we came out of the bathroom and he was waiting in the middle of the bed the first night, all bets were off. He's very special, as are the others! We have a tendency to collect animals with special needs! |

| Welcome you have a great looking pack. Your Jessy sounds a lot like our Kerian tries to rule the house. We adopted her 6 plus months ago she was about 38 lbs at the time she now is about 45 lbs She was2 years at the time.

We officially adopted her when her last litter was 6 weeks old, however, we were in the process of adopting her before everyone found out she was pregnant. |
