| Thanks! I think his eyes are just a dark brown? It's hard to get the angle of the light right, because most of the time it looks like his eyes are black! |

| He's such a handsome boy!
Kay's eyes look dark brown or dark orange inside but outside depending on the light they look golden or light orange. |

| Such a lovely timeline of Suka. That is scary finding a tumor. Hope it was benign.
How long did it take for Suka to get passed separation anxiety issue ?
Our little Kira also from a shelter still suffering a bit from SA . She is not 100% yet over this. Its been now 3 months since we rescued her. She is ok being left alone during the day for few hours here and there but not at night yet. So not sure how long this will take. |

To be honest, there's not much of a reason for us to fix it, because 95% of the time one of us is always home (my Mom's unemployed). That 5% when we're not home, we take him to a pet sitter or get a family friend to look after him. It works out well, because he's calm we get a discount. He seems to be fine as long as: a) he's not in a crate and b) when there's people around He's not crate trained, when we tried he hurt himself trying to get out and also broke the crate. |

| Great to hear it was benign. Its good then that Suka has someone almost all the time and that you can take him to pet sitter in times when you have to. Thats a great arrangement. Kira on the other hand, has to learn to be alone sometimes because we work and my father though retired does go out at times, but Kira is doing ok she also does not have a crate just a soft bed and toybox full of toys to shred and chew bones. She is learning that people come and go all the time during the day and they will come back. We also got DAP with the diffuser which could be helping to we plug into the wall (you can see it just low in the wall behind her toybox) . At moment its just the night thing, we cant leave her alone yet. We tried to go out for 5 minutes at night two weeks ago and she just went crazy crying, barking we couldnt leave her and had to come back in so in the end didnt really go out. Maybe over time she will understand that at night its ok to. We always leave her doggy door open in and out of the house when we have to leave at day time so she has free roam of house and her big back yard with a high fence. The perimeter ground is grassed with bricks and lowerground fencing so she cant dig either. So pretty secure. |
