I dont know how to tell if this place is good or not.. The price seems resonable to me. Just wanted your guys opinion.. I didnt know if i liked that all trainers are volunteers and not paid.. Makes me wonder if they are qualified.....

Looks kinda sketchy to me.

You want a trainer that has had experience in huskies. A lot of trainers confuse a husky's natural stubbornness for dominance, and that just opens up a can of worms...

Are you looking for just general obedience/manners? Or is it for a specific reason like for aggression or etc?

When I first adopted Suka, I went in for a few classes at PetSmart. They were great bonding experiences, and I learned quite a bit on how to teach him stuff. But their trainers work on commission, so keep that in mind when they give you their pitch.

It's an all breed club that does agility, obedience, conformation, and rally. So I would guess they are experienced. Of course the only way to find out is to go and ask. You could probably go observe a few classes before registering for one. The one thing that seems odd to me is that they aren't affiliated with the AKC (at least their web site didn't mention it). Most of these types of clubs are, and their events are sanctioned by the AKC.
For what it's worth, most classes held by all breed kennel clubs are done by volunteers. But they are people who themselves compete in these events.

The best way imo to find a good trainer is to go visit all your options. Talk to the trainers and observe their classes and see what works best for you. Not what works best for you neighbor, siblings, jimbob or the internet but for YOU. The reason why I say this is because you are the one who will be trained and by extension the dog. The trainer is merely there to guide you along and assist, so if you don't mesh well with the trainer for whatever reason then you are going to have a bad time (which you shouldn't because training is fun :p).

Also keep in mind what works for some may not work for others and have fun Smile

I would agree that you would want them to be affiliated with the AKC. If you ever wanted to get the Canine Good Citizenship certificate I think you have to go through an AKC approved training program.

Most places like that should allow you to observe classes and should encourage you to do so. If they don't then I would rule them out.
