Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Pulling only getting worse - Page 2 Empty

Hi, I had the easy walk harness and it worked wonders for me. Once I took bob to the Vet for his checkup and nails clipped and when he went into the back he came back with the harness upside down. In other words instead of the loop being on the chest the Vet thought I did it wrong and turned it around so it was on top of his back. I bet they were in the back saying stupid woman does not know how to put a harness on. Well I told him NO you are wrong it is suppose to be in the front so I can pull him around if need too. But it worked for me in fact if for some reason your dog chews it you can get it replaced. When the trainer came she told me she had hers replaced 3 times as she has 3 rescued dogs. So When bob chewed one of the straps I called them and sure enough they sent me a replacement at no charge and did not want the broken one back. Now that was customer service.

We got our new harness yesterday! So far he's been pretty good with it. I had more trouble figuring out how to put it on than I should have. The real test will be when we're able to take him for a walk... it's been rainy here in California the last few days. Fingers crossed! Smile

So, pretty good news! We took Ezio to the dog park today (usually when he's at his absolute worst) and he wasn't perfect, but he was MANAGEABLE. We were shocked. He still pulled to a degree trying to get to the fenced in area faster, but it wasn't pull-so-hard-I'm-going-to-break-your-arm pulling. It was just enough to not have any slack in the leash, but because the harness would turn him it wasn't nearly as frustrating/difficult. We are very pleased! Very Happy
