| I can't believe that he's so big already! How time flies. I love the up close nose pic and the one of him with his head on your shoulder in the car. So sweet!

| Wow, he has really developed into a stunning dog!
To answer your crating at night question, we kept Ghost crated at night until she was almost a year old, and we're going to play it by ear when Shadow comes next weekend. It honestly depends on the dog and your own comfort level, but you can always do a test run or two and see how he does. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. And yet, you never lose sight of how absolutely extraordinary that very ordinariness is, how difficult, remarkable and rewarding that fight to be 'just like everybody else' has been." -Gwen Cooper, "Homer's Odyssey" Shadow - 03/01/2013 - 10/02/2014 |

| He is SO CUTE! ive thought about boarding kiba for the same reason you mentioned. only my parents and siblings seem to be able to handle her hyper-ness. friends all seem to be a little overwhelmed by how excited she gets. ive never boarded any of my pets before though so makes me a little nervous.
great photos! |

We're considering trying it out in a few months just to see how he does. We've noticed that as he's gotten bigger, he does a lot of tossing and turning, but he does prefer to sleep in an enclosed den-like space. - KibaHope wrote:

Yeah,I guess that no matter how much of a dog person you are, you really have to be a "husky" person to understand. His hyperness doesn't phase me at all anymore. He sleeps most of the morning and day, and doesn't really get hyper until 5pm. Then he gets the zoomies off and on until 8pm when he gets ready for bed time. His schedule is so funny. But I guess because he was around 3 other dogs, he didn't want to miss an opportunity to play. And I did plenty of research on local boarding kennels in my area. I landed on an interdependently owned kennel that only feeds the best corn-free and grain-free foods that included lots of one-on-one and supervised play time available. $25/day it was quite the steal. |
