| Sometimes Bradbury stares off into space when he's cranky or tired, which seems to be normal for him, but I've been noticing that more and more he sits in the doorway of my bedroom and stares at the same spot in the hallway, which has absolutely nothing there. He'll sometimes even lay in the hallway and seemingly keep guard of the empty spot until he sometimes falls asleep.
At first I thought maybe it was because we do have a spirit in the house, but he stares at the floor. We don't have pests, so I don't think it's mice. I'm mostly asking here if it's normal husky behaviour to just stare at a spot like that or if maybe something is up? And if it's a stupid question, then sorry, I just kind of want the opinion of others. |

| Maybe you have something under your floor and he can hear it the most in that spot. Might be a pest you dont know about yet, termites? Or since you say theres a spirit in the house maybe thats the most common place it sits around at. |

Oh man we'd better not have termites. I'll at least get that looked into. It's just weird to me because it's the floor. We have a cat who stares at this one spot on the ceiling by the front door, so we always just figured that's where whatever spiritual thing is. This location is nowhere near it. |

| Is it carpet? Maybe something spilled on there long ago but still has a lingering scent on the carpet pad underneath. |

| Oh man, I can only hope my dog doesn't do this. I will be moving in to my own place for the first time with no roommates so I will definitely freak out a bit if my dog does the whole "sixth sense" stare haha |

| Nanook stares off over above the old folks home by our house at night. My wife is convinced he's seeing ghosts. All I can do is laugh lol! |

| My lab will stare at the backdoor and then not go through it. Getting to the point where his hackles will stand up and he will let out low barks (with or without me standing in front of the door). He has done this for years and the behavior comes up every now and then, the rest of the time he is fine with the door. Back to the spirit thing, a few years after I bought my house I found out that a lady died at the back door. Now that is freaky and even though I'm not into the paranormal things that much, when I am at home alone and he won't go by the door I get a little freaked out. So, I'm guessing if it is the spirit thing, it is more of a reaction or at least his reaction (not staring alone) that honestly freaks me out. But I tell myself it must be in his head, since the others don't do it. I may get the pest thing checked out, but occassionally my pets will stare off and as they always lay in the same spot. It may seem like they are always staring the same way. |

| My ex's dog always stares at her front door with that "what is this doing here?" kind of look/head tilt. Which then actually led to it barking at whatever is around the door and even doing that whole playful invite to play pounce that dogs do. And then it will turn and look at her and then back to the "spot" like "dude, owner do you really not see this thing in front of me?" *shudders* so very creepy |

| Kenzi just discovered or just started caring about the ceiling fan last night. She will stare up at it like it's done something wrong then storm out from under it or crawl under a chair. My dads bird dog would have weird episodes over the ceiling fan at times. It would just freak her out. She would run away from it and watch it and bark at it then hide at random times it seemed, but it turned out she was having mini strokes that were messing with her mind causing her to become confused and frightened by things. Not to worry you or anything. Kenzi stares at the windows (at her reflection) and I know she isn't having strokes. They just do that from time to time. _________________ |
