I know there's a lot of threads like this but I just wanted some expert opinions. Just wondering what Bode's grown size will be. His sire was around 65lbs, mom was smaller, don't remember her weight, plus it was hard to tell when we saw her because she was still in her post pregnancy shape. He was also on the large end of his litter when we picked him up at 10 weeks.

Up until now, he's been growing pretty fast. He was low 40lb when he went in for his neuter on Nov. 7. Took him to the vet today to weigh him for his next heartworm pill and I was sure he was going to be over 50 (I was hoping so I could get more than one pill at a time!) but he was only 43.5lbs. He'll be 7 months on the 7th. Any guesses? I know puppies grow like weeds and I was just wondering when it kind of starts to slow down.

I would peg him around 55 - 60lbs. Cato is almost one and only 45 - 50lbs but at 7months he was 38lbs...not as much growing occurred after that. I bet he will just be on the high side of standard.

Was it mostly weight filling out after 7 months or did he gain much more height?
