Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I'm so sick of the dirt in our yard!!! Every year during "fall" & "winter" the grass completely goes away and our yard is ALL dirt! Come spring/summer and the grass comes back The three pups bring in so much dirt! I bathed them last week and they were covered in dirt the following day. I wipe their paws and towel them off EVERY TIME they go outside yet when I pass the baby wipes they're black! They do a good job of "bathing" themselves, but the dirt is ridiculous! So frustrated! |

| We have a lot of dirt in our yard too. One of the sections is in the far left corner where the grass didn't get enough sun because of the tree and died out. We cut down a lot of the tree's, some were filled with ants, and plan to plant grass in the spring.
The other section is where we leveled sand out to put the pool. Our yard isn't flat, it's on a small hill. So the grass died under the sand and now that we don't have the pool anymore my brother and I tilled the dirt. We spread the dirt around where we needed it then leveled the ground there. But it's still an oval of dirt and we have small patches of dirt here and there. We also have a natural sand box in one corner that the girls like to dig in.
I hate it when it rains here because then they always come in covered in dirt. I have to clean them off and they always jump on the couch and run into the kitchen. So I have to clean the couch and mop the kitchen. |

| You should really save up for an HVD. We don't have a dirt yard, but I have a dirt sandbox for Rogue to dig and lay in, and whenever she gets super messy, or we went to the dog parks which are all dirt, I just HVD the dirt/mud off them. |

I prefer it over the K9 Mini, especially since I can adjust the speed so much. If I were ever to get a K9, it'd be the K9 II, but I don't really need something that hardcore. I can't speak for the Bear I, but it's only $100.

| It's 100% worth it to me. Bathing the dogs is easy, getting dirt off them or making them unmuddy is easy, and also it's convenient for drying my car if I wash it AND if my clothes have a bunch of hair on them, I just HVD the hair off |
