I'm gonna be a husky mom again!! (Hopefully)

My boyfriend has agreed to go see and hopefully bring home this sweet gorgeous girl tomorrow! I can't wait for Kane to meet her and to begin spoiling her.

She's estimated to be about 4 years old and her name right now is Sheila, but that's subject to change. I don't really know much of her history yet.

From a no-kill shelter not too far from here. We have to complete application and interview. They said there's at least one other application in on her. I'm hoping we might get preference because of our husky experience. Fingers crossed!!!

I'm so impatient. I hate waiting to find out. When my boyfriend took the application by earlier, no one was there to do interview because they aren't actually open today. The lone staff member there said that this sweet girl is still there, but she may be spoken for by someone else I really hope they consider the fact that we have a husky already and are already familiar with their temperament and habits.

If not, I guess what's important is that she will have a home. And I am lucky to have my sweet boy already and will maybe find him a sibling someday.

We won't hear anything until tomorrow sometime. Again, I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again for the encouragement.

We're going this Saturday to look at a red 11 month old male we tried adopting from our local shelter that sent him to the rescue.

Thank you for that site. I've gone through Siberian Husky Assist before when we got Kane and am also looking at a young black and white female on their site, she looks like she could be Kane's twin sister!

But I'm really hoping it works out for us to get this sweet girl.
