I just noticed that Cash has a lump on his right testicle.. Has anyone else had this problem with their male? He is not neutered yet and he will be a year old on the 13th of this month.. Could it be a lump that could be malignant or benign or maybe a hernia? I'm panicking a little bit here.. Advice please! Worried Mother!

Kody has a lump on his belly (right under his peepee) and the vet said it was his belly button. He has an outtie. Haha. Anyways, that's the only experience that I have. I would take him to the vet and get it checked out.

Lol.. I hope I get a cute answer like that! Sadly, I feel something may be wrong.. I called my dad and he said that I shouldn't even worry or take him to the vet..

Take him in, lumps are not good and no one here is capable of diagnosing over the internet what the issue could be.

Take him in and if they suggest a neuter, do it.

Definitely get it checked, and be insistent about getting it aspirated so the vet can check the cells under the microscope. Don't let him/her tell you that "everything's fine" without checking it. A lot of growths are benign and are nothing to worry about, but there are a select few that can mimic the appearance of a warty or fatty growth such as mast cell tumors. Don't mean to freak you out by any means! Just make sure your vet is thorough.

I definitely agree! He will be going to the vet next week.. I pray I get a good answer! I was just hoping maybe someone could tell me the difference between a hernia and a lump on a testicle.. I've raised dogs all my life and have never seen this before..
