I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but does anyone know the neck size of an Alaskan Malamute? Previously I had a collar custom made for Lycan for a 6 month old gift, thinking that if I took the general measurement of an average Malamute neck size of 18" to 24", it will fit him till he is 18 months old. The smallest adjustment of that collar fits perfectly with two fingers loose. Today at 7 months old, I've already adjusted the collar till it's around 21.5" and the collar seems like it only has another inch or so to go. I want to order another collar for him as the man that handmade his collar will be retiring soon and I love his work. Does any Malamute owner know generally how thick their neck will be? I have only had huskies before and their neck only range around 18.5" to 21".

A little information on my Malamute. Currently 7 months old and 37.5kg (82.5lbs). His height is 61cm (23.5"). Does anyone has a similar size Malamute that I can compare so I can get that collar for him? Thank you.

Maggie's is 22 or 23. I think, the last time I measured her.

Koda's neck is 16" and Rogue's is 13"... That seems crazy to me that their necks are so much bigger!

I re-measured her...20 inches.

Chili is a husky but big - he's down in weight right now at 74 lbs and I just measured his neck to be 19"
