| I am trying to buy a car soon but want to know what cars are big enough to haul around Daisy's plastic crate (we do not own a foldable one). I currently dive a old 92 Toyota Camry and if we take the plastic crate apart it will fit in the trunk.
We don't mind breaking down her crate everytime we travel with her but it is kinda a hassle because it's a HUGE crate. Also, I really don't want a SUV or a huge car. |

| Honda Elements are a favorite on the forum. That would be my next car if they still made them new, but I can't really find the logic in trading in my 2010 car for a 2010 car. I know the Kia Sols are pretty convenient too. My Scion XD can fit a kennel in the back with the seats down, as can an XB. |

| Subaru's are famous for durability. If your looking to hold on to your vehicle for the long term seriously consider the Kia or Hyundai models they offer 10 year 100K mile warranties. Many others offer the 100K miles but short time span. Every person I know that has a Honda Element loves them tho it may be bigger then what you desire but then you'll have to buy used as 2012 was the last year for them. |

| I just got a Subaru Forester in August and I love it. It's got enough room like an SUV, but it's a car based vehicle so it handles a little better and gets a little better MPG. It's still small enough to fit in tight parking spaces. I've never tried to fit the kennel in its set up, but I think it would work. |

| We have a scion XB and it has a ton of room! It drives like a car, gets decent mileage, and the seats fold down for cargo space. They are pretty reasonably priced too, and from what I have experienced Toyotas last forever. (it's a toyota camary engine) |

| We have the honda element and it's great. I could easily fit 6 huskies in the back, or 2 xl kennels It's nice that there is no carpeting to vacuum also since the floor is plastic. The only thing that bugs me is that the back windows do not go down.. |

| We have a honda CRV 2001 it is the boxy body style th first style the made. Ours is 2001 and still going. It will hold a kennel I believe. Our two dogs just ride in the back with lots of room.. I do see a lot of reference to the element on here with husky owners. We also have a 95 volvo that is my car the pups ride in the back just fine but it for short trips mostly if we together any where we take the CRV being (Blaze chewed the passanger seat belt in the volvo in two. |

| I fit both my Huskies in my 2008 Lexus IS350. We recently bought a 2008 Land Rover LR2 to be a bit more accommodating for the dog's. I think in a year or so I'll upgrade to the LR4 (It has a lot more room for the dogs).
My sister has a 2011 Ford Escape Limited and that thing has tons of room in the back! |

We have a 2010 Cadillac SRX and it works out great with pups. We bought it used which is why we can afford it. There's no way that we could get into $50K car payment Now with three, I want something bigger, but that's just because Mya needs her own space. It still works, but when we go camping in Feb we might have an issue with all of the camping gear, 3 dogs, and 3 humans! |

| We plan on buying new cars in 2014, I want the Focus Hatchback and Jarod wants a Raptor. I think the Raptor would have plenty of room, and even the hatch. |

| Chevy Equinox here. You could fit one big crate and have space for other things if you put the back seats down. |

I was going to buy a Raptor last year. Those trucks are absolutely SICK! I love it! I wanna buy one for a play truck one day. |

| I have a chevy colbalt (which they no longer make, boo) for me and Karli's kennel fit in the back if I pushed the passenger seat all the way up. Taken apart it would probably fit in the trunk. The hubby and I are going to Cali for Christmas and taking her along with us, gonna take the kennel apart and put it in the trunk then too. Love my cobalt and the depreciation value versus the price of the care was very good. Only issue is that the interior is light. |
