PostSubject: Titus is safe in Malaysia   Titus is safe in Malaysia EmptySat Nov 17, 2012 4:21 am

Titus arrived in Malaysia on the morning of 13th November which is a few days ago. He is currently in quarantine there. My family in Malaysia visits him everyday to give him his medication and food as he won't eat from stranger. They spend about more than an hour with him everyday.

These were found sticking to his crate when he arrived. The attendants said that he was growling at them when they moved his crate to the quarantine area. So my mum told them to leave him alone and not to go into his kennel. The kennel is pretty big, has an indoor and outdoor area, total to 6m X 3m.

But he is really friendly with my family and little brother.

He won't eat anything so my mum is making him eat some can dog food and cheese everyday. At least to get some food in him as required by his medication.

well after having to spend all that time in the "rescue center" i don't blame him for being wary of strangers when he's stuck in a kennel. Is she feeding him with a spoon? lol that is one pamperd dog hahaha

Glad his is safe. Looks like your family is taking good care of him. Thankfully the quarantine isn't too long. When will you be joining him?

Yeah, we always feed him with a spoon when he is sick and refused to eat. I remembered once when he was still a puppy, he got sick and refused to eat. But when I feed him with a spoon he eats. He picks up on everything we are doing, including 'human eats with cutlery'. He even sits on a chair by the dining table with us sometimes but he will never touch the food on the table. He thinks he is human.. Smile

I will be joining him there on the 9th January 2013. Lycan will be there as well. Hopefully my mum can get Titus out of quarantine earlier because of his health issue. He is only doing his toilets every 24 hours when she visits him. She doesn't really like the facility there. She said it's an old quarantine facility with only a few attendants with over hundred dogs/cats.
