Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | This may sound absolutly silly but I have no idea what these are.
I noticed that when I first joing, under my avatar picture on the left was a little thing that said "Treats!" and next to it, it said I had one. Well the other day, I just so happened to notice that it now says 2. What are the point of these and how exactly do you get them?

| When you read something that you feel really adds something good to the forum either educational, maybe really humorous and the what not you give a treat. Then again if your maybe offended by something or of that ilk your take away a treat. Look to your right in others post (not your own) you'll see a + or -, + is if you this the post is worthy of a treat - to take away. Now that I think of it I do believe there is a "sticky" topic regarding treats, will see if I can find it. Here it is: https://www.itsahuskything.com/t4488-what-are-treats |

Funny... For the record, the treat button is not analogous to the like button and the negative treat button is NOT a dislike button. As explained in the sticky Len posted, you give something a treat for adding something really good (or really funny) to the discussion. Negative treats are only if someone says something really offensive or flat our wrong. It's not an "I don't agree with you" or "wow, I don't like that", which is something I think is going on lately. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. And yet, you never lose sight of how absolutely extraordinary that very ordinariness is, how difficult, remarkable and rewarding that fight to be 'just like everybody else' has been." -Gwen Cooper, "Homer's Odyssey" Shadow - 03/01/2013 - 10/02/2014 |

It is used to point members who traffic these forums less often in the direction of someone, or an idea that in genuinely constructive to the topic. If you see someone with 4000+ posts and no treats.. where is the credibility. It is an informational tool. |

| But we all know that people take away treats just to be PITAs often as well, though a lot of the culprits from a couple months ago seem to be absent. I am too lazy to treat or untreat anyone ever, haha. |

| I see. I found the sticky about the treats after I posted this thread, and wasn't sure how to delete it. Lol Do you get any kind of a notification when you get/loss one? Not that it really matters, but I agree with the credibility thing. Might be something I start looking at when people post on advise topics. Thanks ya'll for clearing that up for me. |

| There's no alert. But just saying, someone who is treated a lot doesn't necessarily mean they know best. |

By the way, I love you sig. Did you make that? |

| Yeah, I always throw together my own sigs in Photoshop. I like them clean and simple.
TooManyHuskies is just some bored troll who obviously has a very good comprehension on dog food but likes to stir people up by dissing their brand and naming usually undesirable kibbles. He would never pop up again if people ignored him, that troll gets full here when he gets bored enough to post. |

| I have never used PhotoShop, as I am too cheap to buy it but I have tried Gimp (Which I was told is like the free verison) but I am not smart enough to figure it out. Even after watching serval YouTube videos... Lol Ah I see, well I will remember to "not feed the animals" as we say at work. |
