Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I've been on this forum for a while now and have not posted in Rainbow Bridge about Alpine. Lately, I have been thinking about her alot. December 22, 2009-October 21, 2011. Had to be put down due to epilepsy. She was the funnest, quirkiest girl and your complete typical husky. Gone but never ever forgotten or replaced <3

| It was extremely hard. It was my boyfriend's brothers dog but I was here everyday and I am the one who helped him to train her. She meant everything to me and when he made that call to me saying we had a decision to make.... well, let's just say it wasn't easy on any of us. |

| Hi Calle I know how you feel, so sorry for your loss,I constantly think about Laska just posted also about her with a photo. I didnt originally attach in my first post back in August. I have photos of laska all around my house lounge bedroom on wall as computer screensaver. Everytime I look at photos it brings back such good times we had together I feel her close to me. They are such a huge part of your life and when they go its like your heart is torn out. So I know what you feel. Even though we have our little Kira which I love dearly, laska to me was one of a kind we were so connected. |

| I'm sorry to hear about Laska! I will go and look at the thread, may they both rest in peace <3. It does get easier but doesn't mean we forget them or don't have constant reminders of them. She was one of a kind for me and I love Cally and she is my own dog but she's her own dog, Alpine was completely different. They both fill big spots in my heart! |
