Yesterday Jenn, Claudia, Claudia's JD and I went to go do a snow hike up north. It was a lot warmer than we except unless towards the end of the hike when the snow started coming down hard again. Hiking on a flat trail like that in pure woods is rough with the snow covering everything, as we went the wrong direction.. more than once or twice, haha. But it was still fun and it was a VERY beautiful place, and the huskies were loving it.

I'm not even bothering doing a new avatar photo when we're getting our pictures taken Saturday, haha. I realized I dropped my hat towards the end I never wore it out in public prior to this because I feel like a furry, haha, but it was so warm when I wore it inside on freezing days!

In Jan/Feb, one of the days you visit, we should plan a shorter hiking trip! I could ditch Jarod and you could borrow his snow shoes and take Ro, lmao. Just have your dogs pull you on a sled to CO!

Awesome pictures! Looks like it was a lot if fun. That's the same hat I have! I don't wear it much in public either, I unusually get weird looks. But it's so warm I think I'm going to wear it more often.

I don't mind looks, but I am just freaked out wearing things like that that're animals since the furry scene (and for you weirdos I just mean people who truly think they are a cat or something and dress like one daily!) scares me, it's a weird issue I have. My sister sent it to me for Xmas though and it really is cute and warm.

Yes, Heather has the Ruff Wear Omnijore system that includes a harness, belt and leash. Jenn and I have skijoring belts anf ganglines with bunjee from Adanc and Alpine.

I got a Sony Cybershot G and it surprisingly takes really nice photos. I'm obsessed with the 3rd photo!

If you don't mind me asking... What kind of leashes/harness set up are you using. It looks a lot nicer than what we currently use during hikes.

I'm using a Ruffwear omnijore system, the other two are using equipment from alpine/nordkyn/adanac(I never remember how it's spelt, Claudia will correct me).
