| Since it was asked for again and we had a GREAT turn out last yr for the Secret Santa were gonna do it again this yr. Here is the info if you want to partake in the holiday fun:) Please PM me your name, address and dog/s names by NOV 12!!!!! and i will get back to everyone by the 16th or sooner. I am suggesting a $15 limit for the family (not per dog, but if you want your free to go over, please don't go under or count shipping into the $15) remember its all for fun and spoiling the dogs. once i have all the names i will then PM you who you will be gifting to, remember its a secret so no giving out clues You don't have to celebrate Christmas to partake in the fun either its open to everyone, i can note in the PM to the person that gets you to stay away from x-mas themed stuff if that's what you want. All the gifts should be sent in the mail by Dec 10, that gives it 2 weeks to show up, if you will be out of town or are in another country please just note that in your post so the person who does receive you will adjust the shipping date so you receive it in time. you can put your name on the return address, or not, if you don't please add your name to the inside package so the receiver knows who sent it. It would be great if everyone could take pictures or video of your dog/s opening their gifts to share with everyone! we can post them in a new SS thread AFTER Christmas, that way we keep the secret. it would be nice to post on here that you did receive your gift (no name of sender) so the sender knows it showed up. ok on to the fun, please post in this thread what your dog/s like/dislikes are so that whom ever receives your pups will have an idea of what gifts to pick up This will be a TON of fun and I hope you all have a great time shopping and wrapping and letting the dog/s do the opening!!! let me know if you have any questions! _________________ |

| Sierra and Jack love just about everything food.
Loves- rawhides, squeaky toys (never last long but still fun), squeaky balls, natural bones, natural treats, always up for something new
Dislikes- Kongs, anything rubber, nothing with things hanging from it like fabric that is easy to pull off (sierra will eat it) happy shopping _________________ |

| Libby is sort of picky, she loves pig ears and bones, like any sort of soft treats, small stuffed sqeaky toys, ropes. She is our little princess and is sort of snobby and doesnt like to share. LOL She doesnt like anything rubber.
Lucy is in love with just about everything. She adores any sort of squeaky tennis or rubber balls.Basically anything that sqeaks to annoy me. LOL. Ropes toys, any treats, loofa dog toys, treats for her kong, small soccer balls for outside play.
I look forward to this again, Last year was a blast.

| I love the idea of taking video/pictures of the dogs opening the gifts!
Nicky & Hayden love pretty much all treats! I try to give them organic or all natural treats. They love squeaky balls, lacrosse balls, & rope toys especially! They have an obsession with squeaky tennis balls!! I like getting them strong durable plush toys. They also love bully sticks!
Dislike giving them regular plush toys. Not a huge fan of kongs.

| This sounds like fun I would like to join in..
Blaze likes just about anything squeaky. Toys and tennis balls. He like natural treats.
Kerian likes anything food treat related. SHe plays a little with toys but not much.
I was wondering about collars harness and leashes as gifts does this work??
I make collars and leashes and was going to make some as gifts.

| Food treats are ok, but Bode has a sensitive stomach.
He looooves antlers. Any stuffed animal (some he rips apart and some he doesn't) especially squeaky ones. Nylabones. He goes crazy for Check Ups, which are dental treats. They're like crack to him. Also up for anything new!
He's not a big fan of rubber toys or balls.
No: Rawhides, processed stuff, China treats

| I will so make a batch of homemade cookies for whoever I get!
Tika and Ripley love smoked Marrow bones and pig ears. They like squeaky toys though they dont last too long. They do wear Bandanas on occasion and they love to hike in the woods, so anything like portable water bowls or bottles are great too,
We dont feed rawhides, and they dont go too nuts over rubber toys.
Thats all I cant think of for now, I'll edit if I come up with anything else Looking forward to it! Kelly

Let me clarify. I believe my wife means DOG TREAT cookies.... They are generally made out of pumpkin and natural peanut butter.... Our pups go nuts for them. I didn't want anyone to think Kelly was sending you home made cookies.... Though I'm sure she coul do that too. ~Chris~ _________________ Is this about the cake problem? | I'm in.
Since I have 4 what's off limits for one is off limits for all. So here's the forbidden list, anything else is fair game.
NO - Squeaky toys, no plush toys, stuffingless toys, anything that can be swallowed whole and not digested.
YES - treats, antlers, rawhides, tug toys, nylabones, indestructible toys (you guys know), anything that can help having 4 (including psychiatric help). |

| Oh... right, lol. What can we do in this house: Good things: Zuke's treats, marrow bones, antlers, bully sticks, pig ears, stuffed toys are okay but be aware they don't last long, kongs, doggy accessories (they actually don't have any cute collars, accessories or anything... Sara got us bandanas last year but they've been worn out!) Bad things: processed treats, anything unnatural We are pretty easy in this household _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Yay! We're in! Yes: Antlers, bully sticks, bandannas, natural treats, they LOVE squeaky tennis balls, & kong wubbas. Kongs and ropes are OK too. I would say OK to "tough toys", but they killed the "indestructible" dragons that Meredith sent last year Was so sad about that! They were so cute! Damn crazy dogs..lol. NO- Plush toys, stuffingless toys, anything that can be swallowed whole and not digested <--- What Brain said..lol. No rubber toys (they don't like them) & no regular tennis balls. If I think of anything else I'll update too. |

| The furkids and I talked it out last nite and they decided they wanted to do it. Apperently though, I have to do all the wrapping of the gifts, didn't seem fair but oh well.
Likes: Live squirrels (lol, they like them and not many other toys) Antlers, cow hoofs, pig ears, Tennis balls (real ones, not petsmart types) Mika loves chew toys, but only if another dog acts like they want it too. Steve likes duck type once but I haven't got him to play with the one I bought him.
Dislikes: this is easier, if your dogs really like them, say chew toys and other dog stuff, these furkids don't really do anything with them as a pack.
mine are not the easiest to buy for at the store. I seem to just stick with other huskies for them to play with, but they are getting pricey keeping up the upkeep on them like food and vet stuff. If you are the one who gets us, don't be upset if your stuff you get them isn't a fan favorite, they will likely open the package and then walk away, but next year will pick up the chew toys and stuff..lol. I have a good collection of stuff that is laying around they don't mess with here, but eventually they pick them up and play. |

| Kale and I are in! Yes- Antlers, bully sticks, natural treats, plush toys, stuffing-less toys, jolly ball products, Kong footballs are his favorite outdoor toy, Kong air squeaker balls, leashes, collars, bandanas, anything by Kyjen, anything that squeaks pretty much. Kale's pretty easy to shop for lol . No- Christian themed toys, (Tree and santa themes are okay) rawhides, rubber toys, treats made in china, hooves, cooked bones from pet stores, and.... um... I think that's it for the no category lol Kale had a blast last year! Can't wait for this years exchange! |

| I think we're in, I'll just send out our stuff a little on the early side (around Thanksgiving) and then have whoever has us hold off a week or so on mailing ours. Address TBD We do natural treats, antlers, bully sticks, nylabones, and rawhide (in limited quantities). The plush toys that aren't "tough" generally don't last long in our house, but Ghost does seem to be calming down a bit on the toy destroying thing. Squeakers still don't last long though. Lulu goes absolutely ape for balls too. Give that dog a ball and she'll be entertained for hours. Please nothing made in China for us either. We celebrate Christmas and Hannukah in our house, but general "holiday" type stuff is always safe _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Count me in as well!
Stark loves puzzle toys (anything that puts his mind to work), antlers, bully sticks, durable squeaky toys (he's ripping through them like nobody's business).
Not so fond of rawhides, treats from china, rubber toys.
