| I feel like we've just passed a massive milestone! For the past few weeks Freya has been really great with her crate - I mean going into it when I tell her 'crate'. Sometimes I'd have to use a firm voice, and for the times when she was being stubborn I would guide her with her collar towards the crate as she's way too heavy now to pick up. She has learned that when I say enthusiastically ' Do you need to go for a pee?' it means she is going to go outside and she trots off to the back door like a good little girl. Tonight after letting her back in from her toilet break, I took the washing out of the dryer and walked to where Freya was. There she was in the lounge room waiting for me to open the crate door for her to go inside and laydown ready for bed. I am so incredibly proud of my baby girl. I honestly never thought I'd get to this stage of her just knowing when it's time for bed and her doing it without being told. My little Missy Moo is getting so clever |

| Awesome, congrats. I love it with my Cali, she will open her door, walk in the crate, and close the door behind her. |

| We are two weeks into crate training with our puppy, and she is doing great! But I really can't wait for her to start loving her crate and going in voluntarily. She is getting more comfortable every day, and doesn't cry much at all at night anymore except when she's needing a potty break. (I feel like I have a newborn getting up every 4 hours, lol) Love the crate training, and I'm glad for this site which gives me hope and great tips on how to properly get her crate trained! Thanks for sharing. |

| That's wonderful! While my boyfriend, Juneau and I were away from home on vacation, Juneau would voluntarily walk into her kennel and fall asleep. I was shocked! Too bad she doesn't do that at home yet. hehe Congrats! |

| Thanks everyone.
Just needed to share how proud I am of my little/big girl.
I hope this wil give hope to all those who are up two and three if not more times during the night with a crying baby of the 4 legged variety. When I first brought Freya home, I could never even imagin she would be doing this. All those sleepless nights waiting for her to wake up every 2-3 hours, dreading what I would find in the crate the next morning, have really paid off. |
