| This is more of a rant than anything, but Ghost did just get a pretty good blow to the head a little while ago. Captain dipshit the karate kid (Aaron) was showing off his little green belt skills with a kick he likes. Ghost walked up behind him, I told him as much, he reached back and kind of nudged her away and proceeded to throw the kick. Right as she decided to try to walk past him. She got kicked upside the head pretty good, and definitely staggered a bit. Of course I immediately started screaming at him, which only served to scare her. We checked we out pretty good, her pupils were equal and reactive, and she didn't show any outward signs of pain. She seems ok now and is playing some, but we're going to stay up a while with her. I really could kill him right now, I seriously have half a mind to kick him in the face and ask how he liked it.
Are there any signs you guys know of to watch for besides what you'd expect to see in a human? If I see anything even slightly amiss, it's an immediate trip to the vet. Grr. He needs to learn some control. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Boys...... I hope ghost is ok, I think checking for the same things as humans is all I know. Keep check on her eyes. How is her reaction time? Can she catch toys/treats? I would have done something to ken, then yelled at him then check on the pup and tell ken to sleep on the sofa if he did something like that after being told the dogs back there. _________________ |

| Her reaction time seems fine now, and I have half a mind to make him sleep on the couch tonight.
We have her out in the backyard now and she's playing as normal with her basketball. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Jenn, pretty much gave you what you need to know. Eyes, reaction and behavior for the next few days.
Now maybe Ms. Blackbelt can return favor with a Lulu of a kick herself. |

| Teach Ghost some good butt kickin' karate moves to try out on him!!! But I'm glad Ghost is okay. I think I would level anyone who accidently or otherwise booted Shey - she's my furry princess. |

| As much as the little shit bugs me. I'm not going to kick Lulu. I wanted to kick him though... When we had her out for the last time before bed, she ate some grass (she does that a lot) and ate some other unknown substance, probably cat poo. Of course as soon as the lights went out for us to go to bed, Ghost started to puke. I gave the EVet a call and they said as long as she was acting normally to just keep an eye on her and if things continued then we should bring her in. I woke up and checked on her periodically through the night, and she's perfectly fine this morning. In fact, I think she's a little extra bratty I totally made Aaron get up and take the dogs out this morning, which is usually my job. I stayed in bed... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
