| So my husband and I were sitting on the couch the other night, about to settle in and watch a movie. Sierra was being a good girl chewing on her antler. All of the sudden she tensed up while looking towards the ceiling. She then assumed husky position #1 (think downward dog yoga).
She barks at the ceiling fan (keep in mind that it has been there the entire time). She then gets up onto her back paws, twirls in the same direction as the ceiling fan, gets down runs out of the room, runs back in and repeat this all for approximately 5 minutes.
It was hysterical. Now in the morning you can see she wants to play with the ceiling fan all over again.
It was precious....any similar funny stories?

| Plastic soda Bottles...... Do i have to say more?
Apparently i didn't need to buy all the chew toys and balls and stuffed toys i bought for Dakota. Give him an empty plastic soda bottle sans cap and he will chase that thing around the living room for at least 20 min. he pounces it and it goes flying so he races after it and pounces again ... again it goes flying rinse and repeat.
Eventually he "catches" the "vermin" and destroys it. lol |

| I do wonder why I bother buying toys. Callie seems perfectly content with a soda bottle and her water bowl. I don't know what it is about it but she loves to toss that thing around. She and my mom's lab discovered the hair dryer the other day and that was hilarious. The lab was terrified of it and kept barking and running in the other room then running back in to nip me for messing with him. Callie decided to play tough dog and fight back against it.
That's too funny that she just realized the fan was there and tried to play with it. Well, at least now you know if she's too energetic, just switch on the fan! |
