Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Hi All,

If anyone lives in Minnesota and is looking for a great dog, look at Minnesota's Unwanted Siberian Husky Rescue (MUSHR). They currently have 23 dogs in foster right now. That includes Carolina's 3 babies. This rescue has been great to work with. They kept my husband and I update throughout Carolina's delivery and treated us as if she ours before we took her home.

There website is www.mushr.org or you can search for them on Petfinder.

Below is a picture and information on Carolina's litter.

From Petfinder.com:

Minnesota Huskies Caroli10

Meet Carolina's litter, born 7.19.12. Carolina came into MUSHR when she was already pregnant. She had these 3 beautiful baby boys. Carolina is a Siberian husky but we do not know the breed of the father, though suspect golden retriever.
We expect a lot of inquiries on puppies, so we ask that interested families email MUSHR and not call. Please be patient as we sort thorough the inquiries. And, please keep in mind that while puppies are adorable, we have some great adult dogs that are also looking for families!

We are looking for Minnesota homes without young children and owners who are willing to attend training classes with the puppies. This is recommended for all dogs but is especially important with puppies. The adoptive family will need to provide a prepaid receipt for puppy classes before an adoption can take place. Adoptions can take place after 10.11.12.

Meet Boone, Bowman and Biscoe. They are all playful and cheerful boys. They get along great with each other and the adult resident dogs. The foster family absolutely loves these cuties. They are about 99% pad potty trained. A few more specifics:

Boone: black and white with one blue and one brown eye. Boone likes to check in with his family and will easily fall asleep once comfortable. Both adventurous and yet very social.

Bowman: more of a creamish color with brown eyes. He always wants to be wherever the action is. Most adventurous one.

Biscoe: brown and white with brown eyes. He bonds fast and hard and always wants to be on your lap. Very social.
