I am so dressing up the girls this year. last year i found a lobster costume and I almost peed my pants laughing at Tika in it. But Chris was less than enthusiastic about it. Maybe I can get them festive handkerchiefs...
Its our ten year anniversary this halloween....I'll have to make it an occasion!!

It's my favorite time of year! And the only time Hubby lets me dress up the dogs! Wink hehe

First year we got Chili, he was Grandma Wolf and I was Lil Red Riding Hood.
Last year we dressed them up as Football Player and Cheerleader, but I also got an eskimo costume for the annual parade and hubby put on a husky hat to be part of my pack. Wink
This year I got Chili a pig costume which Hubby and I will also be - with us being the Three Little Pigs and Frosti will be the big bad wolf. Smile

Last year Zoey was Superwoman and Embry was Superman

This year Embry is a shark, Zoey is a tiger, and Ares is a squirrel.

This is my favorite time of the year too! Smile

I love these pictures and ideas! Our dog park is hosting a halloween costume contest. Not sure how the dogs are going to handle it (because they'll want to play lol). I've never dressed up dogs before, so this is exciting!
I really like the little red riding hood idea!

We've only tried to dress our dogs up once. We just bought some Halloween T-shirts and the one we put on Danzig was a little too small and he was blowing his coat. I should've got a pic because it made him look extra fluffy. He just stood there with his head down so we had to take it off.

But, if we happen to find something really cute and for the right price.... we might have to make Danzig suffer a little.

My poor Mya was a cow..lol.

I think Asia might be the cow this year. The costume was a bit too small for Mya and I'll get Kody and Mya new ones!

This is our first Halloween with Kota and I am more excited to get her costume than I am to get my own!! My fiancé, on the other hand, is less than thrilled that I want to "dress up" our dog. He's a party pooper though so I'm lucky he even agrees to humor my excitement. lol!

I need to find a costume for Char. There is a big trick or treat event in support of our local rescues at the off leash park here. Looks like it is going to be so much fun.

I so wish we lived in America, just so we could get right into Halloween. Our house would be nuts every October. Still, we're going to have to find a costume for the two rats this year, mainly just to take some Halloween photos. Need to start thinking of ideas.

OMG....love all of the pics....questions..

1. how do you train your pups to tolerate the costumes (specifically the hats)

2. what is a good age to expect them to be agreeable to dressing up?

Thanks Smile
