Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | Hi guys,
Just wondered if any of your huskies destroy everything in protest. Mine is very good when we are with her, she will play, naps a lot, but doesnt have any interest in detroying anything....
however last night I left her on her own for about 20 minutes downstairs to pop to the shop (she was asleep when i left) and I return home to absolute chaos, the bins were tipped over, recycling pulled down from the kitchen surfaces, my make up wipes had been mainly eaten, carboard boxes all shredded and she had brough a massive plant in from the garden! I dont even know how she had time to do all of this!
it seems to me that when she has behaved like this is when I have left her and she watches me leave as I can leave her downstars if i am upstairs and she doesnt do this.
Do any of your dogs have a little protest at you leaving? |

| Also look into separation anxiety. We also did the crates until they could be left alone, but we generally have to tired them out with a run before we leave, leave the TV on, lights on and sneak out with our usual "catch phrase" to reassure them we'll be back. We also put everything away and close the doors to rooms other than the main area. Our motto : "Never trust a husky!". |
