| If there's still interest in a possible meet-up/play date, I would definitely be interested! We're in the Rockville/Silver Spring area, and there are a couple of great dog parks in the MoCo area. Great for play dates. |

| I heard of a nice dog park in Annapolis that I've never been to before, but it looks awesome. Not sure how far it is from everyone.

| Khuno and I (and possibly my girlfriend if she's still in the area) would LOVE to join. Khuno is not neutered though, so i may have to pass on dog parks if they don't allow dogs with their jewels still |

| We are having a meet in Arnold on Sunday actually (I've just been lousy about updating here on the forum). It's a little bit of a hike from Southern MD (just north of Annapolis), but I can absolutely incorporate some more southern parks into the rotation for future meet ups. Check us out on Facebook:

| Sorry you weren't able to make it. Plan on the next one being most likely the 3rd Saturday in May, and there are quite a few pictures that I posted on the Facebook page last night. Hope to see you next time! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Hey Sean, glad you found our Facebook page! I need to be a little more on the ball about updating things here, and when Kaikoura is old enough we'd love to have her out _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | The minimum age for most parks is 4 months, and I've seen some go as high as 6 months as the minimum. Regardless of the park rules though, it's really important to not take her to parks and other high dog traffic areas until her shot series is complete. We have the rabies shot a week from Friday, and then the last Distemper/Parvo the week after that (we got knocked off the traditional schedule for a couple different reasons), and after that last shot we will start taking her out more. But with the prevalence of Parvo and the amount of time it can stay dormant in soil, it's a pretty big risk. In my opinion, it's just not worth the risk for a little bit of playtime in a park. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Alright East Coast people, we're having a big H2M2 meet on the 17th. Chris and Kelly are bringing Tika and Ripley down from Montreal for our August meet, so come on up to Frederick, MD for some serious Husky action. The meet is going to be at Ballenger Creek dog park in Frederick, at 10:00 am on Saturday the 17th. For the new Maryland folks on here, and anyone else who wants to be a part of our group, here is the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/190452957669203/
Hope to see a bunch of you guys out there! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
