| I just wanted to know if any one has had this issue I have a 3 year old Husky who was Fully trained and never peed in the house and could me left at home for 8 hours and would hold it with no problem but about 3 weeks ago My Gambit has started to pee on base boards and on the feet of my couch he can no longer be left out of the crate while we are gone. I do not know what to do I hate putting him in the crate he was crate free for about 2 years and now I feel like we have a puppy all over again.

| He sounds like he's marking.
Is he neutered?
I'd get a belly band. It'll help with the marking. http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Solution-Washable-Male-Medium/dp/B000FJD5ZS/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1347464966&sr=1-1&keywords=belly+band |

| No he is not neutered. I am not sure if I want to neuter him do you by any chance know if it changes the dogs personality when they get neutered? I have always been worried he would not be the same dog if we did that to him. |

| I am not 100% sure about wether it changes a dogs personality or not. Most bets swear that it doesn't with ANY animal but I've had both of my cats done and they are almost completely different cats. Every dog I've had has been fixed when I got them or I was to young to remember it. I've heard it calms most dogs dOwn a bit as they don't have that natural instinct to bred anymore but I do know that when my GSD got fixed her gained a good deal of weight. I would say it shouldn't change your Gambit to much since most people have their dogs fixed, ya know. |

| I would take him to the vet in case he has a UTI. They will check him over and, if he has a UTI, they can treat it and that will solve the problem. If they find him clear then you'll have to look at other solutions. You can always discuss neutering with the vet while you are there. |

| No, neutering will not change their personality. It's a myth. It will however prevent many common cancers and ensure you don't add to the husky overpopulation issue. Yes, take him to the vet - it happened to Chili and it turned out he had an infection. |

| In an un neutered dog that sounds like marking! Neutering may or may not stop the marking. It should help though. I
I haven't heard that it will "change" their personality. Mostly it helps with the want the "wander" and marking. It also drops his changes of certain kinds of cancer. |
