| Adobo now loves the water when she was younger she would tolerate it up to just where it would touch her belly. Now she'll dive in and scoop water like a shovel.
Biko though is worse then Adobo was, he'll barely allow his feet to get wet even when he wants a drink of water. |

| Brewer is slowly growing a fondness for the creek we have in our neighborhood...especially when ducks are on the menu! |

| We want to take Aurora to the river this summer to swim but wonder if she'll need a life jacket? She is our first experience with a husky and we have no idea what type of swimmers they are, however we want her to be safe. (We won't be boating, just on the bank.) |

Huskies can swim just fine! This was the first time we brought her to this park. Now we don't worry as much when she goes for long swims. lol. _________________ -Sara |

| Due to raining all week, the back part of the local dog park has become a small lake and, I swear, my puppy's logic is that he's trying to soak up the water to dry out the park, but...well, it seems to be working!
I wish I'd had a camera a couple days ago. He led a half sled team (5!) of huskies/mals to the small lake and they spent the better part of an hour chasing each other through it, bowling each other over, splashing each other, so much! I felt a pang of pain for my backseat, but it was so fun to watch. There was even a point where a golden retriever got too close and all but one of the huskies crouched down in the water while the one went off to nip at it, turned, and ran back to the water. When the golden got to the water, it got husky-ambushed and dunked. He looked like a collie when he got out. It was fantastic. |

| I need to get a photo up of Thunder, when I take my child to the playground he literally sleeps in the sprinkler while my daughter runs off and plays. |

| Loki loves the water ever since he acquired a baby pool. Now that we put our 14 foot round up he has to go in when we do for a quick swim. |

| When we took Bode to Lake Huron, he liked splashing around with the other dogs in the shallow part, but he didn't like once it got deeper. But he swam just fine when I took him out to the deep water since he wouldn't go alone. I think he'll like it more when he is bigger.
He doesn't mind the rain or hose (and the spray bottle deterrent technique never even came close to working), but we gave him his first bath this weekend and he HATED it. The poor guy was trying to back up the wall of the bathtub so his butt and back legs were up in the air over his head. |

| Danzig LOVES water. In fact, when we go hiking or take the Jeep out, we find a place that has a body of water for him. Here he is in the river that runs by a hiking trail we do. And at the dog park |

| Saphire loves the sprinkler (as long as it doesn't make noise) and puddles but hates lakes, rivers, baths etc. However I totally get the big stick thing. Yesterday on our walk she found one that was about 4 times her size and spent the next ten minutes trying to drag it home before she finally gave up!

While we were camping Char kept stealing the branches my husband had stacked up to start the camp fire. We started calling him the stick master. On the last day he tried to drag off one of the split logs. We all laughed and thought next year he will probably be able to pull it off. |

| Anna fails to like water at all! When my mom, sister, and I took her to the beach we would put her in the water in between us and she would swim to me crying and scratching at us to pick her up. We tried the kiddie pool and that didn't work either, I would squat and splash the water and she would come and climb in my lap so she was out of the water. Hopefully she will grow to like it because I love it. |
