| I wish I could take Saber to a meet up but seeing as how he has no white blood cells to fight off infection, I have to be super careful with taking him anywhere that he could pick up something and get sick . |

So sorry to hear about Saber :(I hope he pulls out of this quickly. Thanks for the well wishes but he's lived with this issue for the last 2 1/2 years so I've already resigned myself to the fact this is how it's going to be for the rest of his life. |

| We are in Shorewood (Joliet/Plainfield) starting today through Monday morning. Anyone want to meet up? I'm definitely going to take the Huskies to Hammel Woods at least once or twice this weekend, I feel bad they've been cooped up in the car for 2 days. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Are you available today? I'm playing hooky and have the whole day to myself. I can probably only stay an hour or so |

| Possibly, I have an appointment with my mom's hairdresser at 1:00, after that maybe. Where we're you thinking? _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I can drive out to where you are since you've already been in a car all day. Does Hammel Woods have a fenced in area? |

| Yeah, it's a really nice park. The only catch is you need a pass And I'm still trying to get some info from my dad on that. If nothing else, we could probably meet up at my parents house. They have a nice fenced yard. Let me check with them and get back to you _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | It's probably easier to just come to the house since I guess you have to go out to the forest preserve office for a day pass, and the office is way out in the sticks. That work fir you? They live about 5 minutes from the park, just off 80 and 55. I can PM you their address. Dad already gave his blessing. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. Boy do I know that area! There are about ten grain places that load distillers mash into containers for export, plus Exon Mobile, and not to forget the racetrack! |

| We are also in the Chicago area...in Northwest Indiana I actually almost went to the Adopt-a-Husky event back then, as I adopted Kodiak from there. It's a great organization! |
