I'm hopefully a soon to be husky owners, and I've done a lot of research. And it seems every husky owner is extremely proud.
Husky owners seem a lot more passionate about their dogs, so my question is, what exactly sets them apart? In depth please !

I think a strong part of it is that they require more effort thus your heart and soul just manifest with their growth.

Yes. They aren't for the faint of heart. They teach you things about yourself, patience, compassion. They require a lot more supervision and think more than other breeds. You can see them surveying a situation and deciding if they want to do it of not. Unlike other breeds like Shepherds or Labs that just do when asked. Huskies are like have a perpetual 2 year old (child) for 10-15 years. Not may can handle their energy, and independent-ness , thus why we have so many in shelters. No amount of research will fully prepare you for bringing him/her home, but it does help, so kudos for you for reaching out to others with experience.

AGREED AND AGREED!!!

They're not easy to handle...AT ALL. My life revolves around my dogs. It's not "supposed to be" that way, but for me it's reality. They're worth every second that I spend on them and wouldn't have it any other way, BUT you have to be fully devoted to your husky and completely in love with them for it to work. IMO. They're smart, funny, HYPER, and most importantly show you all the love in the world! They're just the sweetest

Edit: Oh, and if you're not an active person a husky is not for you. I have a lot of energy so going on two 2 mile dog walks/runs a day is OK for me, but for some it's not. They know the routine so if you don't feel like walking them...yeah...they'll make you! I walked Mya with a high fever once just so that she would be content and cuddle with me!

There is something about a Huskies personality and Character that i love, they can read you and know when you are BullS***ing them, they can tell if i really mean something i say and when i don't.
They very much are like having human children, they will even back chat if they disagree with you, we make ours sit and wait before every meal and every meal we argue back and forth with Brooklyn about why he needs to wait for his meal. They have high energy, they need to be exercised and tired out so that they do not get bored and destroy something.
They are incredibly smart dogs and it does not take long for them work out how to do something, now whether they choose to do it when you ask them to do it is another story in itself. They can be stubborn, which i both love and at times despise about my 3, they are a fairly independent breed.
There is truly nothing like the love and companionship of a Husky. You will learn so much from a Husky, sometimes you will learn more from them they will learn from you.
A Husky is not for everyone, serious thought and research on the breed needs to be done before you get one, you are certainly on the right track.
I apologise if none of what i have just said makes sense, but it is hard to put into words why i love huskies. There is just something about them that is captivating, how they walk about thinking they are the bees knees and demand your attention regardless of what you are doing, how they can be so stubborn and will go to great lengths to avoid doing something they do not want to do, how they will always love you unconditionally no matter what you have done or what you say to them. They love routine- well my 3 do anyway, and if you fall out of routine, they love letting you know about it even more.
I hope this helps, it is a very long post i know, there are a lot of things lovable about a husky.
