| The first week of raw diet was chicken. Husky is 8 mos old. She tolerated it very well....her stools were initially loose but then firmed up. So, the second week, we tried Turkey.....two nights ago, I spent the entire night picking up vomit and diarrhea....She had been on Turkey since last Sunday....the whole week, her stools were soft...but it just got worse....
Here's the issue though....the vet found she had whip worms so I treated her for them on Thursday.....so I am not sure if it's the turkey causing these problems or the de-wormer....
I think I am going to go back to chicken for a week and try another protein source....I am afraid to go back to turkey because I don't want to spend another night like that...
Any thoughts or suggestions.......??

| I'd blame it on the worms and de-wormer, they can make a dog crap like a garden hose full on. |

| I would do like you plan, put him back on chicken and whenever you feel comfortable try turkey again just to be sure. You can try a different protein first and later come back to turkey if you prefer.
With my dogs, their symptoms of intolerance have been vomiting, diarrhea, mucus in the stool, lack of appetite and energy.
Some dogs don't react well to wormers, however none of my dogs have ever had any adverse or abnormal reaction to being on a wormer. _________________ |
