Look who's back and here to stay! Luka! Someone found a craigslist posting of him and directed me to it, so i had to go scoop him up. Apparently he's been re-homed twice since i had him back in March.  He's not as fluffy as he was since they trimmed him up at home, i fixed it a little bit so he doesn't look so choppy lol. I can't wait until his fur grows back though.

Yay, Luka is home at last! He sure looks happy.

So whats Luka's story? Was looking around your other posts and I couldn't find it so figured I would just ask.

So sad people can't know what they are doing when they get a dog. At least he is now someplace where he will be loved...unless photographs really steal your soul then he is screwed   You and mobyzilla should have enough for a decent team by now!

At first I was just holding on to him until his owners were found. They were found the next day and immediately came to get him, they seemed to really love him but was surprised I could walk him easily and groom him with no issues. I invited them to our H2M2 group but they never joined.

Several days ago someone on the Facebook group tagged me and asked if the boy in the Craigslist add she linked was him. I knew immediately that it was him but was confused as to why his fur was shorter and he lived in a different city. I contacted his owners immediately and asked if he was still with them and if I could meet him. So we drove up to meet him and it was obviously the same dog. The owners were different though so I asked them about him and asked if they got him from the ladies I gave him back to. They said they got him from a lady in a high risk pregnancy who only had him for about a month. So then we took him home.

Lol! I can't wait till winter when we can put our teams together and run 8 dogs.

Do you have 5 at your house now? Or did Lyon do home? Do you find it difficult to manage that many dogs?

Megan (Mobezilla) adopted Lyon. Four dogs isn't too bad, Luka is really good and listens to the girls so they all get along. I just have to work on his walking manners and then I can walk them all together.

Another lost dog story, lol. We yet again are taking care of a lost husky that my brother found at work. He called me so i went and picked him up. I'm guessing he's around 10-12 months old, he's not neutered and didn't have any tags but did have a collar on. We've been taking care of him since September 15th and haven't seen any signs of anyone looking for him on the internet or around town. Haven't gotten any calls from the flyers i've put up yet either so i'm guessing he's been dumped. I'm going to schedule his neuter and decide what to do from there i suppose....

We're pretty sure they're not related since Lyon is from a shelter in Indiana but who knows. There are a lot of huskies around here with similar markings from a byb in the area.

I love Luka's new tie, he just loves to dress up.

Haha, they don't mind it. I love experimenting with chalk on them, if only i had a white husky......Everyone seems to want to take Fawkes from me, lol. Everyone but his original owners though, sigh.

Unfortunately no i'm not keeping him, i'm so attached to him but i can't afford it. I'm going to try and find him a home through the Ohio H2M2 group so i can still see updates.

Luckily they're all really good in the house (besides potty training, still working on that) and they all get along really well. It's pretty easy for me to handle all of them but they know they can't get away with anything with me. My family though, that's much different lol. They can't handle 5 huskies that don't respect them.

Lyon actually came from a Chicago animal shelter in Illinois, and he was picked up by the rescue in Indiana, which is why I'm pretty sure they're not related. But they do look like they could be relatives, Link came from Kansas and Lyon came from Illinois, so its possible that Fawkes traveled from somewhere too! XD

Abby, you have such a great and varied pack, love them. This was my first time looking and I'm so glad I did. When my page was loading I started to laugh, because i seen the "Are you my mommy" pic, then when I read it, I about cried. Why do people suck so bad? Thank you for helping these beautiful babies, and a shout out to Mobe(Megan) too, for taking Link. I did want to ask about Sophie, I have fallen in love with her, she reminds me of my girl, is there a special story about her that I may have missed? i honestly scanned and read your last 3 pages or so, so if it's earlier on do you mind telling me where to find it? Thank you for sharing your pics of your happy pack.
