Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

crate - Luna hate her crate now :( Empty
PostSubject: Luna hate her crate now :(    crate - Luna hate her crate now :( EmptySun Aug 26, 2012 1:56 am

Today I left for work in the morning. My girlfriend was with Luna until 3PM, because she had to work. She put Luna in the crate before she leave and put all of her toys with her. When I got home at 10'ish Luna popped and peed in the crate.I boiled chicken and added kibbles to her meal. She hardly touch it. We went outside for a walk/run.

She popped and peed, but when we put her in the crate she wine. she followed me to the living room and she started sleeping, I picked her up and bring her to the crate, she walked out and come lay in the living room.

She used to like sleeping in her crate. is it because we left her in there for so long that she refuse to stay there, if so how can i change that to make her enjoy it again?

My girlfriend and I feel really bad that we left her in there for that long Sad Crying or Very sad Sad Crying or Very sad

P.s she had stayed in her crate longer before and she was fine.

Did you clean it really well? We had a simar thing with Jeter last week. Only we left him for about an hour.

Scrubbing the crate with a super duper cleaner and hosing Jeter off we're our first steps (after letting him know we love him and everything would be ok)

At first he didn't want to back into the crate. Also he seemed ashamed, or bother or both from the experience. He also seemed a bit sick for a day or so which I contributed to stress. He now seems fine.

So not being an expert I'd say love, time, and making sure the crate is free of the smell of the incident should make it all ok.
